    Niranjan Kameswaran serves as Chief Executive Officer of Ethyreal Bio. He brings more than 15 years of biotech experience across company formation, business development, financing, new product strategy, and operations.

    Niranjan joined Ethyreal through his role as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Atlas Venture. Previously, he was COO and CBO at Resonance Medicine where he led strategy and operations and helped advance the company’s novel therapeutics platform. Before Resonance, he led corporate strategy, business development, and investor relations at Kala Pharmaceuticals, and helped lead its IPO and multiple public follow-on financings. He began his industry career at Civitas Therapeutics where he played a lead role in managing a dual-path IPO/M&A process which culminated in the company’s acquisition.

    Niranjan holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.E. from Anna University in India.

    Jessica Stromme is Chief Development Officer of Ethyreal Bio, where she leads development strategy and oversees Regulatory, CMC, and Quality. She brings more than 20 years of pharmaceutical development experience spanning program leadership, portfolio management, cross-functional execution, CMC and regulatory strategy.

    Before Ethyreal, Jessica held senior development and program leadership roles at Vigil Neurosciences, Karuna Therapeutics, Ra Pharmaceuticals, Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Good Start Genetics, and Sarepta Therapeutics. She has advanced programs from IND-enabling work through clinical development, pivotal studies, and regulatory filings.

    Senior Vice President, Translational Medicine

    Kelly Foster, Ph.D., is Senior Vice President of Translational Medicine at Ethyreal Bio, where she leads nonclinical and translational strategy across the company’s development portfolio. She brings extensive experience translating innovative science into development-ready programs, with expertise spanning antibody development, PK/PD, bioanalysis, biomarker strategy, clinical pharmacology, 
and toxicology.

    Kelly has held senior leadership roles at Leap Therapeutics, Viridian Therapeutics, Pinteon Therapeutics, and Cadent Therapeutics, where she guided discovery, IND-enabling, and clinical-stage programs and contributed to regulatory submissions and agency interactions. Earlier in her career, she was a Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at The Commonwealth Medical College.

    Kelly earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Harvard Medical School and her B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, and she completed postdoctoral training at MIT. She is an author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in translational drug development, neurobiology, and antibody therapeutics.

    Stephen Huang is Senior Vice President, Head of Clinical Development at Ethyreal Bio, where he leads clinical strategy and development across the company’s pipeline. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning clinical development, translational medicine, and thyroid disease research.

    Previously, Stephen held leadership roles of increasing responsibility in clinical development at Enanta Pharmaceuticals, Beam Therapeutics, and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. He has led the clinical development of RNAi, gene editing, small molecule, and antibody therapeutic programs ranging from pre-IND through marketing approval across both rare and common diseases. His experience included serving as Global Clinical Lead for zilebesiran from pre-IND through Phase 2 development and as Safety Lead on the filing team in the approval of GIVLAARI®.

    Stephen is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist who formerly served as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and was a NIH R01-funded investigator. He discovered the human disease called consumptive hypothyroidism and founded the Boston Children’s Hospital Thyroid Program, building it into a leading center for pediatric thyroid care and research.     Simon is a serial entrepreneur who most recently served as CEO and founder of Mariana Oncology until its acquisition by Novartis. Prior to this, he was Chief Scientific Officer at Ra Pharma (NASDAQ: RARX) until its acquisition by UCB Pharma. Over his 30+ years’ experience in Biopharma, he has held R&D leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Roche/Genentech and has worked on the development of some of the most well-known drugs in the immunology area, including Rituxan® and Actemra®. Dr. Read is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK), Executive Chairman of the Board of Judo Bio and a member of the Board at Dianthus Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: DNTH).     Prior to joining Avoro, he was a Managing Director at Arix Bioscience, where he led the investment team and focused on private and public biotech companies. Before that, Mark was a Principal at Longitude Capital, where he focused on investments in biotech and medtech companies. Her expertise spans clinical development, regulatory strategy, R&D leadership, business development, and corporate governance. She has contributed to 100+ clinical trials and 20+ regulatory approvals across the FDA, EMA, TGA, ANVISA, and PMDA, supporting product launches in oncology, rare disease, cardiology, dermatology, neuroscience, and anti-infectives.

    Dr. Smith has held senior leadership roles including President, CEO, Global Head of R&D, and Chief Medical Officer at multiple biotech and pharmaceutical companies. She has built organizations from the ground up, managed teams of more than 500 FTEs, advanced R&D pipelines, and supported acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.

    Dr. Smith currently serves on the boards of Sangamo Tx (OTCMKTS: SGMO), Skye Bioscience (NASDAQ: SKYE), Context (NASDAQ: CNTX), ReFoxy Pharma, and Emyria Ltd.     Nick is a Partner at Medicxi and joined the firm in 2018. He led Medicxi’s investment in Phathom Pharmaceuticals and currently serves on the boards of a number of portfolio companies, including Ethyreal Bio, Altesa Biosciences, Vaderis Therapeutics, and Klear Bio.

    Nick’s prior investments include MiroBio (acquired by Gilead Sciences), Versanis Bio (acquired by Eli Lilly) and RAPT Therapeutics (acquired by GSK).

    Nick graduated with an MPharm and completed his PhD in urological drug delivery.
